Our community's remarkable generosity shone through as SJC Interactors and Rotarians joined forces at three local markets, collecting both food and monetary donations from compassionate shoppers. These contributions enabled us to purchase additional supplies and create comprehensive Thanksgiving meal packages, which were thoughtfully assembled by Interact students at the Scout Hut.
Marines arrived with transport vehicles in the early afternoon to collect these meal packages, destined for enlisted Marine families at Camp Pendleton. Despite their dedication to serving our country, many young Marine families struggle to make ends meet, even with existing support systems. A traditional Thanksgiving dinner often remains beyond their reach. Thanks to your donations, these families were able to celebrate the holiday with full tables and warm hearts, experiencing the embrace of a community that deeply values their service and sacrifice.
